Sam’s Historic, vacation rentals,Trinity, Newfoundland

Historic visits, dining, theatre, whales and icebergs watching and much more.

Sam’s Historic, located in the heart of Trinity Newfoundland is a warm and very cosy house. You open the door and immediately make a return in the past. You see it, you fill it, it is there, this house got a soul.

You drop your luggage in one of the three bedroom and immediately relax on one of the two patios to breath the fresh air or in the living room to impregnate yourself with the spirit of this 1850 house’s gem.

You forget about driving your car for few days, everything you may need or visit is at walking distance because you already took care of the grocery. You could start just across the street with the visit of the tiny but beautiful Catholic Church. You can fake on a photo to ring the bell outside, if you do it real.....make sure it’s on a Sunday.....

Trinity is one of the most beautiful town in Canada. It is a must to visit it and we highly recommend to buy a ticket at the Information Center to get access to all the exhibits including the General Store, the Cooper shop, the Forge in action, Hiscock’s House, the Museum and naturally the rich house of Lester Garland who came from England to develop Commercial Fisheries and trading in Canada.

History, boutiques, restaurants, tours, are all there to make sure you get an unforgettable sejour. The boat tours for whales, bald eagles, large variety of birds, otters, and much more, are just just fantastics.

In close area you will find much more to see or to do, including a rich variety of hiking trails, Sherwink Trail being the most popular and known one. Also at very close distance, Random Passage TV Serie filming location and the very, very popular boat tour « Rugged Beauty Tour » , both at New Bonaventure. Birds watching, puffins, at Elliston witch is also the root cellar capital of the world, 30 minutes from Trinity.

ENJOY YOUR TRIP IN PAST.......AND IN THE NATURE.
